20th – 23rd October 2011 to 23rd October 2011Convention Organised by Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and co-organised by fourteen chambers of commerce and trade promotion institutions from Macao, Mainland China and Hong Kong, Currently being the only exhibition event in Macao accredited by The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), MIF was participated by 318 trade and economic delegations from more than 60 countries and regions last year. The 16th MIF will comprise mainly the following:
- The theme: “Co-operation – Key to Business Opportunities” will be maintained;
- Full play will be given to Macao’s advantage of a regional co-operation platform in promoting the economic and trade relations of Mainland China, particularly the Pan Pearl River Delta Region, with the Portuguese-speaking countries and European Union;
- By way of exhibitions, forums & conferences, business matching and purchase meetings, MIF aims to promote interactive trade and investment activities, in order to foster the integration of funds, resources, markets and technologies, and takes a further step to advance entrepreneurial co-operation in multiple domains;
- Showcases the latest trend of development in Macao to promote the diverse arising opportunities with respect to regional co-operation and emerging industries (e.g. convention & exhibition, cultural & creative industries).
- This year's MIF will collaborate actively with the development of the different regions, and will enlarge the exhibition area with enriched contents. You are kindly invited to set up a themed pavilion and hold various kinds of seminars and presentations to promote to the other participating exhibitors, entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world the investment environment and projects of your country or region.
